Your vehicle’s cooling system plays a critical role in its overall operation. Whether your vehicle is new or old, seals begin to wear from the first time you start your engine. A cooling system leak can have serious consequences if not noticed. Leaking seals and gaskets reduce the cooling systems capacity and functionality, causing an engine to run hotter.  The higher operating temperatures causes thermal breakdown, accelerated oxidation of oil, quicker hardening or drying of the seals, as well as accelerated metal wear.  In short, a tiny leak left untreated could result in a “surprise” break down and result in significant repair cost. 

Throughout the last nearly three decades, several OEM major automobile manufacturers worldwide relied upon Bar’s Leaks to “enhance” the functionality of their OEM coolants. Bar's Leaks Rhizex OEM Tablets will not only stop and prevent leaks in the cooling system, it will also reduce damage associated with cavitation by limiting the formation of low pressure voids. In order to keep the cooling system remain clean, Rhizex OEM Tablets also contain buffing agents to prevent scale a deposit buildup.

How does Bar's Leaks Rhizex OEM Tablets work?

When reaching an external leak, it travels between the holes, gaps, and cracks and collects around the outer perimeter of the leak.  Then builds inward, effectively sealing the leak. When exposed to air, it expands up to 15% in size, creating a tight seal capable of holding in pressures exceeding the maximum designed for cooling systems.  Resulting in a strong seal without clogging your cooling system.

Bar's Leaks Rhizex OEM Tablets is best installed crushed or pre-dissolved in warm water directly into the radiator or through the upper radiator hose. 

Run/idle the engine for 15 min.

We recommend to drive/idle for 15 to 30 minutes.  If the cooling system leak persists, a second dose may be required or the leak is too large and mechanical repair is needed.

2 tablets / gallon (3.78 liters)

The cooling system must be clean and free of other types of stop leak products. If it is necessary to remove other anti-leakage substances, or if the engine is over 2 years old or has traveled over 25,000 miles, clean the system with Bar's Flush before using Bar's Leaks Radiator Stop Leak.
